This new SEARCH facilityDoes not seem to work for me.
I select the forum option not the web option but it refuses to return current threads or older ones that I really want to hunt down.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

The normal forum search definately works the best !!!
The google one doesn't order the results and you get a different set of results from the normal forum search.
There aren't any options to tweak the goole search so it seems a bit useless to me !!!

It seems that sometimes my forum one drops off the bottom and I am only left with the GOOGLE one...
Very odd, it's working now, but wasn't earlier. I think this and the daily quiz are my new obssessions.

That would explain it! I have given it a go on both search facilities - the forum one is OK for me (and usefully you can use the check boxes on the ight of the screen to get it to put the relevant posts in order, or how many words the readout contains, and so on.)
I tried the Google one - hopeless!
Is something happening to your screen that it isn't scrolling down to the forum search?

Since I moaned its been there!
Maybe I really am hopelessly incompetent or maybe it is a ghost in the machine.
If it goes AWOL again I'll note it on here. Sorry, this must be the most boring thread of 2007 
And all this is just displacement activity for what I really should be doing and the list is too long to repeat!  Christmas - bah - humbug

The google system isnt a new one, just an alternative. I would advise you stick to the old search system.
