VCBet questionHi all,
I had my bet on Captain Gerrard at 16/1 for the Nunthorpe refunded yesterday by Coral  
I had a double with VCbet at the weekend with NA at 11/4 and CG at 7/1 but as yet I havent seen the money appear back in my account?
Anyone know if they are honouring all bets? I hope so!

I got my bets refunded on both New Approach and Sakhee's Secret (lucky as the latter wouldn't have run on the soft ground) with other bookmakes. I have heard VC Bet have been a bit slow to refund the stakes but if you phone them up I'm sure they would refund you, if not, then it is disgusting.
I always assumed that antepost bets with races rescheduled for different venues would always be refunded as it would result in different race conditions.
Give them call.

vcbet have now refunded my New Approach bet on the International, at those odds I would of prefered it to remain open in all honesty.

I never use VCbet anymore because it really annoys me that when you go on oddschecker and they LOOK like they are offering best price when in fact they are not, but you cannot tell this until you get right up to the part of placing the bet at least if any of the others have changed there prices they let you know straight away.
Victor needs to upgrade his preostoric software and if he is doing this on purpose then he his trying to con people

I've been tricked by that as well, I'm sure it isn't just limited to vcbet and a few other bookies are a bit slow to update there odds on occasion, but vcbet are really bad. They definately should sort it out seeing as the majority of online punters use that site to get best prices for their bets.

I have not come accross any others that do it.
What i found annoying is if you go onto the slip login and you do not have enough funds in that account to do the bet you want, you then proceed onto depositing money in the account at which point you go to place the bet only for it to tell you that price is not available so you have deposited money into the account but end up doing the bet with someone else because VC are not really the best price

Happened to me many times too! Also annoys me that VC don't show their e/w terms on oddschecker either whereas all other bookies do

Yes in this day of age with gambling you have to be as PR friendly as you possibly can and at the moment VC are bottom as far as i am concerned so do not use them if they get there act together i may go back to them.
Perhaps more time could be spent on PR rather than beat Victor competitions

All refunded now, cheers folks.
I have been stung by the Oddschecker thing too, in fact when I placed my bet New Approach was showing at 7/2 - I got 11/4!

Yeah, when I looked on oddschecker most firms were 11/4, even 5/2 in places, so at 7/2 Vcbet were a standout!
When I clicked through, it came up as 11/4, but they were still 7/1 Captain Gerrard so I took the bet.
11/4 then was a decent bet, I thought!
