Pay for them to have a meal out in a restaurant that has the name 'PEARL' in its name

My Sister and I once paid for our parents to have afternoon tea at the Ritz hotel.
Im not sure where you live Owl, but are there any posh hotels round your way that would do anything like that ?
Other ideas would be to pay for them to see a show or concert of some sort ?

Depends whether you want to give them something that will last, or a lovely memory!
I agree that a posh meal, tea, or a show (depending on their tastes!) is a great gesture. But if it's a thing to keep then why not a pearl necklace for Mum and cufflinks set with pearls for Dad? Of course, they may be giving each other those (or they may simply not be the sort of people who would want such things) in which case, back to tea, show, dinner etc!!
Pearl jewellery isn't all that expensive, and you can find some lovely things at reasonable prices in second-hand jewellery dealers.
Good luck! And wish them well from me! I am coming up shortly to the wooden anniversary, and I am secretly trying to carve a set of cherrywood bowls (from our own cherry wood) - not very successfully, I have to say!!

If you had access to the photos and the time you could Create a 30 year anniversary commemorative book, including photos of momentous occasions during the 30 years(Birth of Owl etc).
This would be a job to share with a sibling but I think more than any other present they would cherish this.
Somethnig like a posh scrapbook is what I am suggesting.
