i never used to get on with my dad when i was younger despite him being a great man, i was a toe rag and our personalities just clashed. my mum always says we are just too similar. whenever that song came on, i always used to think how i would feel if i lost him and we'd spent all that time shouting and it would bring a tear to my eye. thankfully in recent years we have both mellowed and we get along great, so now i just enjoy the song and laugh at the concept of me and my dad dancing together - he is not one for big displays of effection at the best of times, and we are probably the 2 worst dancers in the greater london area
