Can't see past the seeded teams. Ireland look solid, and I'd LOVE them to go through - no-one will be cheering them on any louder than me - but they're awful to watch and I can't see France failing to qualify.

Ukraine's performances against England show they can play good football; they will take my money to go through with portugal and russia

Wont bet on France v Ireland as i will feel bad either way then....

I would agree with Geordie & take Ukraine to beat Greece. Although I'd expect France to win, I wouldn't be too suprised to see Ireland take it. Depends on which France team turns up.

france and portugal are both 24.0 to win the tournament on betfair which to my mind represents a good opportunity as each will be sub 20 when they qualify and around 10s (or less if they find form) when they make it through the group stages.

on that basis you only need one of them to qualify and get past the group stage to recover your stake on both. if both get through the groups you're laughing.

so without further rambling, £50 on each @ 24.0 and 24.0. will be interested to see how their prices move if they both qualify because if they are both still around 19.0/20.0 i will venture back in for some more...

also gives me extra teams to cheer on in the world cup when england aren't playing. i love the world cup
