How many people cycle to work? if so how far do you travel? Im currently looking at buying a bike and like about 6/7 miles from work. I do have a bike that is falling to bits, more of a trials/jump bike, broke when i flew off a big ramp and nearly lost my knakers.

Any suggestion on a nice road bike or any sites?

Hello Kyle

I dont cycle to work, but i do a lot of cycling over the fields near where i live, usually do 2 miles each time, i wouldnt have thought someone as fit as you are would have a problem cycling 6 or 7 miles each day, good luck though!

at 8.00 in the morning 7miles up hill is a problem!!! i spoke to my french corrspondent he is a semi pro cyclist in France and he informed me buying off the net is not beneficial due to putting together the bike and a service. He recomeneded a local shop adn to drop his name but i think my older brother knows someone and he is a very persuasive person!

Oh i see Kyle, quite a few miles then

My sister used to cycle to work a round journey of 14 miles a day, for 2 years, in all weathers, she wanted to build her stamina up for the job she know does in the Andaman Islands as a diving instructer, so the hard work paid off.
