For the final, I can't see past Barcelona v Arsenal. Think it's been written in the stars all year, Henry going back to his old club, talking about how he loves them before scoring the killer winning goal with 5 minutes left.

Remember where you heard it first.

if barcelona play has poor has they did v schalke tonight, man utd will win
maybe schalke should of got something from the game in the second half especially when lanky centre forward larsson came on,puyol imo is not a centre half and one of schalkes best chances came via the high ball in the box and larsson out jumped pulyol and free header missed the goal
hit puyol with the high ball with a lanky forward up against him always create a chance imo
cheers archie.

I know they played poorly Archie, but the big teams tend to win when playing poorly, and their biggest asset is going forward. It's more a sense that those 2 are destined to meet in the final. Would love it to be a ManU Chelsea final personally, but I think Henry must return to play his old club.

Arsenal will not beat Liverpool over two legs. Liverpool are diffrent class to all other English teams in Europe.

Is that good thing or a bad thing (if it's indeed true)?  Does that not suggest that the players don't give 100% in other competitions?  Hence the struggle to even qualify for next years competition.

I would suggest that it means Rafa knows the European game better than he knows the British Game myself. A few years back when Real Madrid were by far and away the best team in Europe, Deportivo La Corunya were the best team in Spain. A similar situation I think.

Anyway, I didn't come on this thread to talk about Liverpool. I got sidetracked  Can somebody give me the current price Chelsea are to lay tonight? I don't think they will win but may manage a draw. If they lose they will be a good bet to qualify as I think Fenerbache will get a hammering at the Bridge!

bojans old man is a serb who played for red star when they were at their best in the 80's. he's a scout for barca now. the kid has declared for spain though. looks an absolute certainty to be a big big star in the game

Cheers Archie. Decided against laying Chelsea as I thought they'd be tips on. Fenerbache at 3/1 is a tempter though!

i took a trip to barca 2 yrs ago, and visited a training session.. all the buzz around the place was all about Bojan... the guy was banging in the goals in training.. bought a barca jersey w/ Bojan on the back, and got my pic taken with him.. no-one knew him.. now they do, and im chuffed that i was ahead of the curve!!! he's been with barca since under 8's i think, once scored 10 goals in one game, and got 100+ in one season!!!

anyway, for tonight i fancy 0-0 in the chelsea game, and 2-1 to arsenal...
