Not having seen that enthusiasm before I felt moved to have a little bit on him to win.

So hurray!

Well done Rowan

Thanks! Although really, I should thank you lot. I really wasn't going to bother to stay up for the races but got caught up reading everything; I only read the RP stuff a bit before the off so it was a last minute thing I'd not have done if y'all hadn't been keeping me up...

Fair play to Conduit, and a great ride from Ryan Moore knew when to go and where the fastest ground was.

Well done to all the backers (and Nick Morden again).

Regards.

That was Nick Mordin Rowan. He is always very bullish and forthright in either backing a horse or writing one off (a bit like me!). Looks really clever he's right and like a bit of a tit when he's wrong (a bit like me!). That's why I quite like him though - don't follow his ratings or opinions really but I like the fact that he's not afraid to put his neck on the line

Ah right, thanks. Yeah, the spotlights can be a bit of a mess but I was just taken by the turn of phrase - must've been the wine. Still, I'm not complaining - this time

Yes Rick, goes for the Sheema Classic I believe. Has shown he can travel abroad fine, go well fresh, stay, and he ran huge tonight (far better than many will realise due to the pace issue) and will still probably be a decent price as he has yet to win a big one. Fair play to Conduit but I think EM was maybe the best horse in the race tonight. Mike De Kock again showing himself to be a really top trainer

I knew you had a good bet lined up there with Conduit at 5/1

Absolutely no chance, dreadful price!

unfortunately when constructing pick 3 tickets i listened

but then i remembered that you originally did not like rail link

and so i hooked the 9 up with the 11 for the exacta

If Conduit wins this race I'll give up gambling. I actually think newyorktony must be winding us up saying that 5's is a good price. No chance.

I just can't be having Conduit though - I hope he runs unplaced just to slightly vindicate me after I also wrote him off for the Leger

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say you were wrong!

They did go far too fast up front though so it was nicely set up for an out and out stayer!

Fair play for holding your hands up Owl. I`m impressed.

Rail Link? I did like him. You must remember wrong. I didn't fancy Curlin either - how many exactas did you hook that up in?

Again what has Rail Link got to do with this race? Glad to see you took my advice that Eagle Mountain was the biggest danger though

there was no reasoning behind the comment

the race was a weak one

gc winter coat and liked ydg

red rocks poor form and needs hot pace

eagle mountain yes

sof overrated and dislikes the firm

where else can you go the 9 crushed the 5
