Great ride by Frankie - I thought all the horses ran their races and the Goden horse had the pick up off the bend.  Frankie knew what he had...

A good night for Europe (but I have lost lots   )

Im sitting here shaking.More pleased for John Gosden who i rate as one of the best in the world.Frankie rode an absolute belter but heartfelt sympathy for Jimmy Fortune.Cant imagine how gutted he will feel.

I know what you mean about being annoyed by connections but I've always said RP was better than HTN even when he got beat by him at Ascot and Goodwood so I'm so happy that the horse has proven it.

But this reminds me, in Gosden's interview yesterday he defintely had a dig at Fortune by making a comment about 'allowing his rival first run in a slow run race' when referring to the Sussex - he was correct but it's a shame that there definitely seems to be some tension betewen Fortune and Gosden/connections now

Yes I knew RP had it 2f out - he made up the ground so smoothly and quickly from 3f out and I was punching the air with 1f to go. Great stuff!

I have an idea ( nagging feeling ) declarations are for a two dollar stake Mach. Even so 11/2 a place is still brilliant.

i thought the coverage over here was very biased towards curlin and even after he had been beaten still was centre of attention.  how the hell could HTN and RP be those prices is an insult, i backed both 2 win+place , also did DOM win+place too, these 3 were group1 horses at around 20s????.  ravens pass was a very good winner showing a very nice turn of foot and hopefully gets the credit he deserves........  the breeders cup is at santa anita again next year hopefuly we can have as winners as this year

Here's a replay of the race :-

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ccX0Qqwz-nY

The Americans are so much more clued up on the media side of racing, free web casts and a Breeders Cup account on youtube, they had the replay up within about 20 mins on there.
