The extra 2lbs made no difference whatsoever! How good does Zarkava look now!

Goldikova backers will know their fate within 2-3f imo. If she has the early tactical pace to go with them early and hold a good position then she should win. If she struggles to go the early pace on the firm ground around the tight bends then she could be in all sorts of trouble. Best to play in running if you're thinking of backing her imo - watch those first couple of furongs and then decide

Should have followed my own advice! Knew she had the race won after 2f; she broke so well and travelled comfortably early on. Great turn of foot too - just gave her a tap and whoooooosshhh!!! Had a tonne in hand. Well done Dave - I know you've been sweet on her for a long time

Yes the wins of Halfway to Heaven (3rd in Pouliches) in the Sun Chariot, Goldikova there (2nd in Pouliches) and Modern Look (who came 4th in the Pouliches and bolted up next time) suggests that Zarkava could quite possibly have beaten the likes of HTN and RP over a mile. Zarkava is (was    ) AMAZING

That really was an amazing sight. Makes you appreciate Zakarva all the more and rue the fact she won't be seen as a four year old all the more prevalently. What a great turn of foot she showed, i couldn't believe how she took off, sent shivers down my spine.
