I can't understand why you are all so upbeat on Starluck after he clearly didn't get home.

I know Aintree is a flat track however the doubts remaining whether he can hack it against top opposition.

I think he still has many doubts and I am flabbergasted people think he will hose up next time. Another Kasbah IMO.

Jet.........

Granted he didnt handle the Cheltenham hill, prior to that though, he had been most impressive.

I don't know why the need was felt to mention Kasbah.

Angling imo

Was Starlucks first run for a while as well after missing his prep run in february so you could reasonably expect him to come on for the run. Maybe he didnt get home because of the trip at championship pace but youd have to assume its more than likely the hill which did for him i would have tought. The trip looked like no problem at all when turning for home.

Lenahan,

The hill would have been one of the reasons he did not get home. The other IMO is that it can not be trusted he can do it against the best.

Timmy Murphy went on record saying missing the Adonis would not be a problem and as he has always won after a long break (prior to the festival) this argument does not stack up.

I am not saying he is not class, he travels very well, but I think the reaction that he is to be a "shoe in" at Aintree is a bit over the top.

Yep agreed shoe in is too far. I dont think that. And i would want at least an each way price myself which for me is something like 7/2 and above. This is just the way i like to bet.

It seems that being bullish about a horse upsets a few people on this board so in future maybe whenever anyone fanices a horse they should input a disclaimer stating that they know a horse isn't a certainty, might not win, only has a chance etc. Will stop GR and others getting upset

I think its more other people being told they dont know what they are talking about, which upsets them. All of us get bullish about certain horses, all of us get it wrong from time to time. Its no big deal really.

Definitely no big deal. But you do get a few 'told you so' forumites every year post Cheltenham who go after the bullish ones. Shows a lack of class and intelligence imo
