Definitely no big deal. But you do get a few 'told you so' forumites every year post Cheltenham who go after the bullish ones. I seem to recall GR being one of those last year too. Shows a lack of class and intelligence imo

Its not my style, personally I would rather it didnt happen, but it is understandable considering some of the pre Cheltenham debate. I am sure we would have had a few "I told you so`s"  If kasbah had won.

thanks Owl

lack of class
lack of intelligence
immature
childish

just for saying before the race that the horse wouldnt win when it didnt

i haven't called anyone on here names for their views, merely suggested that those who clearly thought the horse couldnt be beaten were stupendously wrong

it seems that with some people, when the facts have gone against them, they find it necessary to abuse those who were, as it happens, right all along

ps sorry vicky, i said  wouldnt post any more on this topic but when someone needs to resort to name calling for being RIGHT I begin to wonder....

Don't worry about apologising to me - The last line of your PM confirmed you never bothered to read my posts so I didn't bother taking much notice of your PM

No problem - Mods do have handbags you know!

I try and be careful with mine but the temptation to use it can be too much sometimes

It seems that being bullish about a horse upsets a few people on this board so in future maybe whenever anyone fanices a horse they should input a disclaimer stating that they know a horse isn't a certainty, might not win, only has a chance etc. Will stop GR and others getting upset

I think its more other people being told they dont know what they are talking about, which upsets them. All of us get bullish about certain horses, all of us get it wrong from time to time. Its no big deal really.

Definitely no big deal. But you do get a few 'told you so' forumites every year post Cheltenham who go after the bullish ones. Shows a lack of class and intelligence imo

I presume you are including me in the 'others' section however I completely disagree with your comments and think you are being a bit childish and possibly still affected by "Kasbah Blues".

My opinion on Starluck is simple. He is a very good horse, proven that Cheltenham is not his track (at the moment) and unproven against top class opposition. I also commented on his break from action not being negative as stated by all connections.

My comments about not being too bullish on the horse at Aintree are backed up with valid points.

Your childish comments about lacking intelligence are starting to annoy a few people and quite frankly IMO have no place on this forum.

I have to say that Starluck traveled like the winner till turning for home & but looked to found out by the hill. He won't be the first too either & he won't be the last.

The fact that he won at Kempton very well seems to tie in with him being a flat track horse & therefore Aintree being the next place to run him.

I wouldn't put anyone off backing him at Aintree, but what price will he be? The whole world will know about his Cheltenham run & the flater track suiting him.
