Was really confident about Calgary Bay for a few weeks. Then all the confidence drained away the last few days. But woke up today and really fancy him again. Will be my biggest bet today e/w with Hills (4 places e/w). Saver on Follow The Plan

I am also very confident about Calgary Bay - my only worry is the big field. Had it have been 10-14 runners I would have no doubts.
Still confident though!

Regards.

Just out of interest, why do the Calgary Bay fans think he can turn round the form with Imsingingtheblues, do they think he has improved past him or do they think conditions etc will suit more?

CB's first run of the season and a small field/flat track wouldn't have served to bring CB'c stamina into play. Those conditions are optimal for ISTB whereas CB should improve no end today for a fiercely run stiff 2m when fully wound up. Similar horse to TB in some ways (a 2m4f horse who wasn't suited to 2m at Donc but will come alive on Arkle day!) except that CB is a better jumper

I can't wait to see Original again... he'll be the only horse you'll be able to see properly from the back of the crowd!

I am edging more towards Forpadydeplasterer as although he has not won this year he has either been beaten by very good horses or had an ecsuse of very poor ground(against Golden Silver).
He was the top rated hurdler and the only one rated above 140 which has always been the magic rating for sometime, he may struggle to go a very quick pace but since they have been trying to get the ground to start of gd/sf this race has gone to the stamina typres not the real speed balls.
With Hills going 1/4 first 4 and them going best price of 10/1 must be an E/W bet to nothing becuase of that extra place.
