Saw The Time Travelers Wife this morning - not outstanding but OK. Made me want to read the book.
Dorien Grey looks good _________________ Cocktails may not be the answer.... but they help you forget the question Vodka... Cheaper than B otox and paralyses more muscles!
thats a film where you would be much better off reading the book imho
The film's are rarely as good as the books - so I'll see the film first and if I like it I'll probably enjoy the book even more. If I read the book first and love it then I'll probably be disappointed with the film! _________________ Cocktails may not be the answer.... but they help you forget the question Vodka... I thought everyone had read the book, isn't it one of the books school children have to read.

Do they let school kids read Oscar Wilde? _________________ Cocktails may not be the answer.... but they help you forget the question Vodka... Cheaper than B otox and paralyses more muscles!

We certainly did, I've got a feeling we also watched a few 18 rated films at school in our English lessons so maybe we were taught by Mr Liberal
Oscar Wilde actually wrote a series of short stories "for" children - "The Happy Prince and other Stories"; so I guess at some schools that at least might have been in the curriculum. I only got round to his other stuff (Dorian Grey, De Profundis, The Ballad of Reading Gaol") when doing Eng Lit at University.

Just re-watched The Big Lebowski on Sky last night again. What a great movie, there was still a few bits I didn't get on 1st and 2nd viewing, think I was under the influence at the time, brilliant movie.
Watched a lot of films recently (I have nothing to do at all!) and some ones worth mentioning - Milk (really good 9/10), Last Chance Harvey was quite sweet as well. The Notebook is garbage, I'm usually a cryer and it just didn't get me at all, really really disappointed.
Also watched the Twin Peaks movie "Fire Walk With Me" and was pretty disappointed with that, completely unnecessary.
Finally got round to watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind tonight (V+ box tells me I recorded it back in February!) - thoroughly enjoyed it, what a brilliant story.
One of the best films I've seen in some time, definitely be watching it again - as soon as I've got through about 30 others also waiting for a watch...
