As far as I am aware, Alan King hasn't been doing all that well recently, although I may have missed a few smaller races he has taken. Also, why no Venetia Williams? She had a treble just the other day, and her runners are worth looking at at the moment. _________________ UNEXPECTED WINNER 2009 FLAT 10 TO FOLLOW COMPETITION!

So they're only published weekly? That could be misleading... I tend to look at the Daily Mail "hot trainers" for the day as they include previous day's results (and I presume come from the Racing Post).
The Daily Mail data bank hot trainers for Tuesday: N Henderson 20/42 (48%); S C Williams 4/9 (44%) and W Greatrex 5/13 (38%)
I looked at RP and Alan King has had something like 2 winners from 50 runners in the last fortnight. They do do cold trainers in DM but use runners since a win so AK isn't listed. _________________ "The Guineas are too early - I found two dead polar bears on our gallops this week, annd a penguin nicked my scarf"

as has been said before this llist is uterly meaningless as it does not give the basis for the selection of trainers (number of wins? percentage wins? percentage wins and place? prize money? what?) nor the relevant timescale _________________ Geordie_R

Out of interest what's the difference between the hot and cold trainer list in RFO and the RP ? _________________ Tricky Trickster - Grand National Winner 2010

RFO is jut a weekly list put in by myself for some interest ,its a weekly paper, obviously the racing post is a daily and will be much more up to date.
If someone could add the Racing post hot and cold lists each day or whenever it would help us all a lot. _________________ I AM HAPPY TO JOIN WITH YOU TODAY IN WHAT WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE GREATEST DEMONSTRATION FOR FREEDOM IN THE HISTORY OF OUR NATION(THE I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH,1963, MARTIN LUTHER KING)
