Mate, 14 days (non consecutive) with temps over 22 degs and no rain constitutes a long hot summer in England.
We've had it.

Went to the Royal Welsh Show yesterday - beautiful day, sunny and with a nice breeze to keep things reasonable. Lovely sunset driving back over the mountain.
Today - weeing with rain, blowing a gale. A friend having a holiday on board his boat has been kept in harbour for days because of gales!!
I think "summer" is relative..... |

I am so looking forward to some global warming
or have we avoided it by switching the stand by off every night?
laughed my boots off last week as bob Flowerdew (real name) was doing a show from Hampton Court gardens explaining how we all had to plant flowers and other pants which needed less water and were able to withstnand higher temeperatures now because of climate change. It was july, hosing down, and I had the central heating on.... _________________ Geordie_R
