will be great if he wins though

Well done to Yeats, what a brilliant horse.

Looked to me like Shane Kelly got Geordieland going too late there though.  Yeats had already gone before he made his move.

I know Yeats is a total beast and would have won anyway, but I think some of the other jockeys, esp Kelly on Geordieland, missed a trick when Murtagh made his move. Surely their only chance was to track him closely.

Yeats would look like Brad Pitt in Troy if he were a person, I reckon.

Outstanding. Just marvelous performance by horse and trainer.

Mixed emotions though - Ryan (had to?) give him a 4-5L headstart (I know he had to cover up Patkai) so was always going to struggle. On the other hand, Ryan had Patkai pulling his arms out for 2 miles so I can't criticise too much, he earned his 10% of the 2nd place money.

Sheer class by Murtagh in a Group 1 again.

Made me go all funny watching that, well done to Yeats, what a credit to the game, fantastic stuff just out and out class, no other long distance horse will ever come close in this race there simply knowhere near as good.
