He's just sooooo focussed on winning and the job. Did you see when he picked up his medal? Basically looked like he didn't care for the whole presentation ceremony. Winning the race was all he cared about.

I'm working through the tape of the day - just seen that     That's probably what Grom was talking about    Not a great medal ceremony - maybe if everyone had collected at once RM wouldn't have been so freaked out stood there on his own!

Personally - I love him; rides a horse like the devil himself is on his tail & rarely gets it badly wrong + is totally professional and would not let anything stop him giving a horse the best shot. It is no surprise that Coolmore come calling when they need a rider.

Sheer comedy in interviews of course and must be a nightmare for Rishi et al - just the odd smile with the monosyllables would help. Folks - maybe he's just painfully shy.

He rode Perfect Stride really well; did his homework on the race and made sure the horse was more prominent than usual so could catch Frankie.

He's got a few good chances tomorrow so don't tear up the slip just yet...

I'm so pleased Coolmore are using him - even though BBI and Again have cost me recently.  Something will land for him - especially if Johnny keeps getting banned!

Poor Rishi gets nervous too - Stoutey doesn't help - He's just so intimidating!!
By the time Rishi had to talk to Ryan all confidence had drained from both of them!

Above Limits - 2.30 Stable a tad bit slow this year compared to last but would love to see them bring this one home.

Father Time - 3.05 On paper looks the 2nd string of Cecil's but I wouldn't underestimate it. Very strong chance.

Elusive Wave - 3.45 Improved to win French 1,000G & hopefully will continue that improvement. (One of my TTF has to win this week at least! ).

Halicarnassus - 4.20 Ran very well in this a year ago & has a decent chance at the weights of geting home in front today.

Yankee Doodle - 4.55 O'Briens 2nd String (or not! ). Major chance in this.

Nice getting out race in the last!   Redford Was thought to be a Listed or even Group horse at one point but is still in Handicaps. Decent chance at the weights.
Mr Macattak E/W.  Giganticus E/W - This one is slipping down to his old mark & should run well. (Maybe they are getting it up for another crack at the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket which it won 2 years ago! ).

Got the 1st & 3rd in the last....perhaps I should have a thread called..."Getting Out Stakes - The Easy Way"!
