Think you're possibly right GG - I have never subscribed to any of the racing channels, because (a) I refuse to have satellite for reasons not connected with racing (b) because that's a substantial chunk out of a pensioner's measly income and I'd rather spend it going racing and (c) because if I did have the channels the cows would go unmilked, the horses unfed, the pigs, geese, goats etc ditto and the whole operation would descend into chaos!
I was hoping that Virgin and Racing UK would eventually come to some sort of agreemement to get the channel back on the XL package for free, but a month on from when Racing UK re-introduced subscriptions this is looking unlikely.
Was thinking that I might bite the bullet and subscribe from November-April to cover the main part of the NH season.
I subscribed back to RUK last night.. Will keep it until the end of March then stop it for the summer again... Its a lot easier to get connected now. did it over the phone in about 5 mins and it was on straight away. Just got to wait for the NH season to kick in now..
