I've just subscribed again. I can't be doing with ATR for the BC this weekend, and an online feed isn't always guaranteed.
I just spoke to virgin customer services, and they said I can cancel again on Sunday morning and only get charged for 4 days usage. Fantastic, I'm going to keep doing this all next season now to
a) save a few pounds
b) annoy virgin enough until they give me the channel for free again _________________ Is ready to hibernate

Nice one Grom, I might look in to that. Why do you think ATR coverage is so bad? _________________ 2009 BCT Winner - Conduit

Matt is like marmite.love him or hate him, personally i think he is a lot better that 80% of the muppets on TV.Emma spencer,Mcririck, rishi persad, alice plunkett to name a few. him and compo used to be comedy classic stuff on atr and knowledgeable into the bargain. _________________ sticks & stones may break my bones but whips & chains excite me
I you with Sky or Virgin? Presumably Racing UK do not charge a joining fee or exit fee?
I am with Sky .. RUK do not charge a joining or leaving fee and there is no min contract etc

It cost me £2.33 for 4 days.
I didn't really need it in the end because they showed the BC for free. But this is the way forward for me for next summer. _________________ Is ready to hibernate
Am I right in thinking this turns RUK into effectively a pay-per-view (or per day)? Can you only do it on Virgin? Any of these sorts of options would be useful for me, as I can't spend out on a monthly sub, but would like to be able to watch specific races live (without necessarily having a bet either!)
I am also looking to the future when I shall be abroad - I notice that the RUK overseas package is more than double the price of the UK one. Why, I wonder? Always assuming that any internet access in Bosnia would allow it in the first place! _________________ UNEXPECTED WINNER 2009 FLAT 10 TO FOLLOW COMPETITION!
I think so Jenny yes. I can switch it on and off whenever I want with a 2 minute phone call. There is no connection charge and I only get charged per day. They charge you the £20 up front, then credit the difference when you cancel.
I'm not sure if sky would do this as well.
Having spoke to the customer services team at virgin they said they will be surprised if RUK carries on as a premium channel, they aren't getting enough people to sign up for one channel that effectively costs the same as sky sports/movies package _________________ Is ready to hibernate
