bookies are waking up

we are now no longer favourites for this (west brom) and you can get odds against promotion (11/10 with blue sq. and 888sport)

lay, lay, lay certainly for champions. we are about to appoint the worst possible manager, are lumbered with the worst man to own a football club since robert maxwell (just pipping freddie shepherd to that one) and have a squad that is about to go into meltdown

2 points from the last 4 games and i genuinely think we wont beat doncaster on saturday

I am 100% behind Houghton and think Newcastle will gain promotion this season. I think Houghton has shown he's not afraid to drop players when they aren't performing and he seems to talk a lot of sense. How people can judge him when he's had £0 to spend and has lost a lot of players in the summer. I think he has done an excellent job so far and I think Newcastle fans in general need to realise we cant keep going for big name managers. Not suprisingly a lot of people who werent saying much 4 games ago are shouting up now but that always happens after a few losses. I think every team in that league will go through bad patches but its how you come out of it that matters. I am pretty sure we will win today and then see how we go after that.

I backed Newcastle at 6.0 to win the league and have already laid off for a free bet. There first team is the best in that league and they have the right kind of players in midfield. With a little bit of pace added in January I think we will definitely be in the top 2

I find it funny that people go on and on about Newcastle fans thinking they are a big club yet in the last few weeks we have seen a premier league manager take a premier league club to court and you barely heard a whimper in the press. Next you see a top 4 team in the Premiership announce they are going to sell the rights to their stadium name, and a few small stories in the press. Newcastle do both of these things and people cant stop talking about it, back page on the papers. Only one people make Newcastle a big club, and that everyone else.

I think Newcastle are a big club. Far too big for the Championship anyway.
