AEG and Randy Phillips will make an absolute fortune out of this. Giving the concert ticket money back is just good PR.

Surely giving the ticket money back is just something they have to do? Refunds plus sending out the tickets would be good PR but refunds OR tickets is a bit of a scam?

You're right.

Bloodsucking promoters - insurance, collector's items AND Mike's last concert in the can (in a vault)

Fortunes I tell ye......fortunes

The Daily Show take on it was great.. handing out awards for the coverage given. The big winner being the reporter who said "Michael Jackson will only die once."

Although I quite liked Geraldo Rivera's whiteboard.

Don't forget, tonight, 6pm...... turn your telly off as it will be about the best way to avoid the service. The bloody thing is on about 10 channels.

The Winning Line is on Sky Sports or alternatviely you could read a book or go to the pub.

For those who missed it, it was a loverly ceremony. Lots of singing and speaking and videos. All the brothers (Jackson) wore a white sequined glove each.

Michael is now officially an American legend. (because congress says so)

The wife blubbed and the kids looked bemused.

I finally went upstairs and watched the news.
