It's the Gold Cup (run at Ascot......)

When Jeremy Chapmans puts up his tips on Wednesday in the racing post ,you can guarantee that if he picks one of yours ,the price will go down faster than Andy Johnson did in the penalty area ,when he played for Everton.
Tiger of course should win, followed him at Hoylake when he started his round on the opening day ,he bogied the first and then never had another bogey in the next 71 holes winning easing up.
Links golf suits the Tiger but as my name is value seeker 2/1 is not for me and I will  look else were.
Lee Westwood has been drawn with Tiger ,that will help me more than hinder him.He has come in to a bit of form, losing in a play off ,then just out the top5 at the Scottish open,he has to be considered.
Jim Furyk has been knocking at the door a lot lately but no one is answering ,its been a few years since he entered the winners enclosure but he is too good a player not to be in the winners circle for so long and at 35/1 is real value.
Hunter Mahon has been ultra consistant of late and is capable of shooting low in the sixties ,not known over here too much ,but feel that might change by Sunday night and expect him to be thereabouts.
[/b]Suggested bets
1pt WIN Westwood 33/1 betfair
2pts top five finish Westwood7.4 betfair
1pt ew Hunter Mahon 33s hills
1pt ew Jim Furyk 35 hills.

added
3pts Lehman top senior 9/4
0.5 pts Hunter Mahon first round leader 44s betfair
total staked=11.5 points

A couple of EW bets for me on some old favourites

Steve Stricker @ 40/1
Justin Leonard @ 100/1

Both with Boylesports of course.

Also done a couple of Paul the other one bets for Top 20

Goydos @ 11/1
Broadhurst @ 16/1

Both of these were best with good old Stan James.

Gone for a scatter gun approach this year. All e/w with Boyle Sports or Paddy Power, 8 & 7 places paid.

Gay 80/1
O'Hair 66/1
R Fisher 33/1
Stenson 30/1
& P Hanson 200/1

All bets will be paid for if Harrington misses the cut.

Good luck eveyone.

Fancy Furyk to win his threeball today against Harrington and Ogilvy, tee off 2.20.
The way Harrington is playing its just a two ball imo so the 7/4 isreal value
suggested bet
3pts Furyk to win threeball ,7/4 baldfred, ladcrookes and blue square.

Dont usually bet on the golf, but the Boylesports offer seemed too decent to not touch.

Anyway, turns out i had £10 in free bets to use, so plumped for £2.50 e/w on:

Brian Gay 80/1
Boo Weekley 200/1

If they make the cut and give me an interest for the weekend, i'll be happy

Cheers
