Car crash night tonight

I'll state now that half the songs would never in a million years be classed as rock - they will do pop versions of rock songs, or rock versions of pop songs.

It's going to be awful - got a nice bottle of red breathing nicely in preparation of it!

Cheers

LC - You only have 7 more posts to get to 1000!!  Maybe the red wine and appalling song choices will make sure you pass that mark tonight!

Jamie has to be great - surely!!

Danyl must be a wreak right now

Hi F F

Lol nearly at the 1000!

I dont actually watch X Factor live - i sky plus it and watch it when it's finished - means you only spend an hour watching 2 hours worth of crap.
I had a couple of Coronation Streets and then Harry Hill to catch up on, before settling down to watch this crap!

Cheers

Okay, last night's thoughts:

What the hell was Cheryl wearing? Looked like 2 saucepans stuck over her t!ts.

Joe - far too soft for rock. And i hate that kind of soft american rock $hite anyway. And did they borrow those 2 dancers from a Kate Bush video? What the hell was that about?

Lucie - far too squeaky and didnt look comfortable at all, cant understand where anybody got the word 'versatile' from, she barely got a note right for the first half of the song. And as for the stage set - you dont sing a Guns and Roses classic sitting on my Gran's brown leather 2 seater sofa.

Danyl - did anybody really fall for that, the wounded animal performance? Doesnt even merit talking about.

Lloyd - If you were to look up the words 'car crash' on Wikipedia, there would just be a link posted to his 'performance', i cant believe people slag off the twins for being unable to sing, but pretty boy Lloyd gets off relatively lightly, he's useless

Jamie - the afro now looks like a dodgy perm - as Half Man Half Biscuit once sang, 'A Bad Case Of Vitus Gerulaitis'. Seem to be taking away the rough edges i quite liked initially. And as for that jacket - the stylist needs shooting. Never thought i would see a Primal Scream song done on X Factor - perhaps they have missed a trick this week and should have got Danyl 'More hated than Hitler' to do a version of Swastika Eyes....

Stacey - Choreography? Honestly, walk 3 steps and they make it out as if they have just done a Fred and Ginger routine. And what the hell was that song? Never heard of it before. So dull, but i could listen to her being interviewed all day!

John and Edward - Sure they cant sing, but with so much going on in their performance, who cares - would rather watch them be unable to hold a note than Lloyd. Who cares if another bland nobody wins and gets turned into Cowell's puppet, just entertain me.

So, the only 2 i actually give pass marks 2 for their singing this week, are Rachel (thank god they ditched the Five Star image) and Olly (Mr Potato-head).

Bottom 2 this week - the only one i am certain of, is Danyl, because for the first 90% of the song he was hopeless, he overdid the wounded animal bit and i dont think the public will fall for that. Betfred go 7/2 for him to finish in the bottom 2, which i think is a decent price (only 15/8 on Blue Square). As for the rest, the only ones i think are safe are Stacey, Olly and both the pretty boys (purely for the vote from young girls).

I need to get out more

Cheers

After lastweek i honestly think that no-one is safe from the bottom two...Apart from the twins who topped the vote and by a fair way too! MADNESS!!!!!

Couldnt believe Cheryl Cole ...Had the no brainer choice of choosing between Danyl and Miss FRANK but bottled it and let it go to the public vote.

Bottom two for me at a guess will be Lloyd and Rachel

Lloyd to go.

I don't think he'll be bottom two as last week will have galvanised his support but as far as winning the competition I think he can forget it, looked absolutely shot to pieces last night.

Simon and Louis might vote for Rachel - less competition
