I purchased an excellent guide this week. Its got stats/trends, track info, pace angles, pedigree pointers, etc etc. I got some bits from the same people last year and it was excellent. Id love to buy the whole package that you can get but its expensive at over £100. Its possibly still worth it though. Anyways i got the first part of the guide for £30. Every race is profiled.

For anyone that wants it send me a pm. Ill give you the details and my log in code so you can read it online or print off yourself for free.

Maybe there would be enough of you that like the first part and we could chip in collectively to get the rest which if there are enough of us wouldnt be expensive at just a few quid each.

Ive still got some bits to print off so bear with me if you do PM as i just want to def make sure i have paper copies myself first before dishing my code away online and spreading like wildfire (just incase) ;)

Yes, I had heard that, too, but I haven't seen any reliable veterinary opinions on the subject. Like bute, Lasix is basically performance-enabling rather than performance-enhancing; that is, it enables the horse to perform at the peak of his natural abilities, rather than upping those abilities artifically (as with steroids).

Well it is performance enhancing given that a huge number of racehorses bleed to a greater or lesser extent (it's not a dirt problem exclusively). Some bad bleeders show it externally, and some of the not so bad ones don't, that's why some trainers will give it when they can - because it potentially enhances the performance of a horse that has been denied it.

Well my bet on Zayenneta already fell through, so that's a loss on the night. Very happy with the 12/1 I got on Rainbow View. Will top up tomorrow night If She's the price I hope she'll be.

My plays as it stands.

Rainbow View @ 13.0
Visit @ 12/1

Will top up visit on the US Pools if she's big enough. Also fancy Father Time and Lille Langtry if the price is right in the US. Come on The Breeders Cup!

I see Keiron Fallon has one ride tonight...I was going to pile into Lillie Langtry as I think she has a great chance...does anyone know anything about Keiron's mount???  Looks unexposed but unbeaten...

Perhaps those rides he took the other day may have got him a decent ride???

He's confident but she's stroppy - dumped him yesterday apparently    She's with Team Valour who he rides for quite a bit.

she has won 2 italian races very well and team valour have a habit of getting good horses, i think she will go well with obriens horse to beat!!  my first banker midday will win today if she shows her true form always hard this time of year for fillies, the americas will back forever together so back her on the US tote, mastery should be hard to beat but looks like going off too short at around evens. im having a small nibble on only green in the sprint at around 40s the breeders cup races cost alot of money to enter and she was goldikova pacemaker before winning really nicely last time, she may come nothing but will take and chance at a big price!! and lastly today i cannot see rainbow view out the first three today i thought she run well last time, travelled great but the slow early pace wouldnt have suited her beat the americas well when finding lahaleeb having too much kick, i think she will go close

good luck too all, i really do love this meeting

This is a link to a unusual picture of Aidan O'Brien and Lillie Langtry in the US!

If I were his riding instructor....

"O'Brien, relax. Decide what length of leather you want to ride at - at the moment you're not riding jockey length, cross country length OR dressage length - make your mind up!

What do you want to do? School her? Teach her dressage? Just get a sense of how she feels in herself? If the latter, get a decent jockey to take her for a spin and report afterwards. If the former, why now, just a few hours before her race? It's probably too late for both, but never mind......

Oh and by the way, if you are uncomfortable your horse will be, too. Get rid of those dreadful creased jeans and wear PROPER riding kit. I don't know what we're coming to, America indeed......"
