Too early in the NH season but Pipe (David or Martin) targets this race, dont know if they have a suitable beast as yet but if they do get on.

The concern wth Tartak is that, same as Nacarat, he needs a flat track to show his best form. But I agree that he will show himself to be a top class horse this season. Looked exceptional at both Kempton and Aintree last year.

Anyone know when the entries are unveiled for this?  The race is on the 14th November and I thought it was an early closer with entries being known about a month before the race.

Brilliant. Right time to dust off and find the comprehensive list of stats and trends for this race to try and get on the most likely winners antepost. If there is ever a race to find the winner soley on the stats and trends then this is the one.

I find this stats and trends stuff so boring, it seems its the main use of people backing horses these days. I find it so unimaginative. Sorry!

I dont disagree and thats more than fair comment. But when youre wanting to back a winner it can be foolish to ignore them in certain instantces. Just as foolish to think theyre gospel. This is one race to take note of them as unromantic a method as it is. Nothing can compare to seeing something with your own eyes but i think its worth taking a note of trends for the most part. Strings to the bow and all that.

However. I think it's the priority that punters put on certain trends when it comes down to the last 2 or 3.

Or the subtlety of the trend as it applies to a given horse.

Disagree looks a good race for punters to make some money with some high quality horses entered at the moment.

Coral Cup stats stand up brilliantly. Will definitely have a look at stats and trends for this one too.

Hi Lenahan

Can you post up the stats and trends for this race please, so I can have a go?

Thanks.
