sadly, I don't think there are any field trips to any of the pubs for free drinks but who knows that may come if I make it to being a manager!

Well done mate!!
Was in a cafe about a month ago and next to me where two girls who were reading through C.V.s and shortlisting applicants for interview. I took off my headphones and listened in on what they had to say.
One of the applicants was borderline, but got through because he had stated that in his spare time he DJed, and was planning to try to make it in the music business, and she thought it was "so cute" that he was trying something different, and promptly shortlisted him for interview.
So, if you are job-hunting, make sure you put something like that in to help you stand out a bit from the others.
