There are good and bad people everywhere, I'm sure there are
a lot of decent people in Reading as well. about 3% of people
behave badly regularly and they give the whole gig a bad name.

Jimbob

Yes we had the WOMAD festival last weekend, it all passes very quietly and we have no bother,

We walk along the river Thames whilst its on, as the river is full of narrow boats, its a really nice sight, and the people are always so nice and friendly.

All ways a sweet smell in the air though Lol.

Darren

Reading might not be your cup of tea, but others like my son really enjoy themselves, i dont think its as bad now as it used to be in the 70s and early 80s, you used to walk along the streets which were swirling in urine, it was awful!

Yep, girlfriend and I are going to V later this month at Hylands Park in Essex.

V is supposed to be one of the best 1s, have a good time! Which bands you looking forward to see the most?

Kyle,
Would like to see Editors, The Feeling, Richard Hawley, Paul Weller, Magic Numbers & Rufus Wainwright. Problem is there's too many bands/artists I like, however the pair of us both like quite a few of the bands there so hopefully there shouldn't be too many disagreements about what to see.

how did everyone enjoy the respective festivals? been offline since i came back (for anyone wondering if ntl are the worst provider they are not, its orange!) but had an amazing time, thought v was good because i had heard a lot of people saying they missed a lot of bands they wanted to see, because there werent that many stages at v i only missed 3, the young knives, girls aloud and groove armada. was bloody expensive though! me and my mate had to make the tough decision of eating or drinking, so we didnt eat! the feeling, orson, the charlatans and starsailor were all amazing but kasabian were out of this world, who did everyone else enjoy seeing at their festivals?
