I thought Jenny had increasing the monthly charge to about £45. I think this was a truer reflection with all the extras. It would also leave a little cash in reserve each month.
Jenny is also looking at the possibility of owning one half share between us and the trainer owning the other half. The monthly costs would be still be the same, but we would only require 20 shareholders.
I feel that we will get something off the ground early in the new year.
Well I'm getting a new dog so I might not have too much money spare but put me down as interested. When we get a proper price up I'll let you guys know.

Paddy, if you look back at this thread you will find all the workings and the pricing. Basically for a "wholly owned" horse, it means 40 shares at £250 initial purchase money plus £45 per month for the life of the syndicate PER SHARE. I divided it into shares because some people might be able to afford more than one (hopefully!)
BUT to be viable, all the 40 shares have to be taken up - there is really no margin (or not very much of one) in those calculations.
Alternatively, it is possible to take a "half horse" (the other half to belong to the trainer) which EITHER lowers the capital and monthly contributions (if enough people are still interested) OR the monthly contributions remain the same but only 20 (as opposed to 40) shares need to be taken up.
Hope that helps - will keep you on the list of interested.
