I grew a beard about 14 years ago, I was 26 and a girl I really fancied at work said I would suit one (I had hair at the time). Anyway, I had it for about 4 months, (never got anywhere with the girl, got to the fatal "good friends" stage - suicide for your chances of getting anywhere!) when one of my friends commented that I looked like Peter Sutcliffe.
Was pretty drunk when I got home, but I shaved it off that night.

Generally I like a man to have a bit of stubble - definate no on the beard front though.

Mrs Newseeker likes me with stubble which suits me as shaving brings me out in a rash. I just use hair clippers without a blade on and go over my head and face at the same time I have only been clean shaven 3 times in the last 2 years, all for weddings.

I shave probably twice a week, but I don't half get nagged to do it, as the stubble gets more and more itchy, longest I have been is about a week

When I was going into work each day then I would shave, if I wasn't going anywhere then I tended to not bother. I have tried to grow a beard in the past but it doesn't really suit me and the itchiness factor is a problem. My girlfriend quite likes the stubble when I don't shave.
