I wonder if the game was at Old Trafford and it was a Utd defender...Would the ref had the nuts to give it then?!

Personaly I think he would... Dunne's hands were high and outstretched.

On the Man U note... did anyone see soccer AM's bit on injury time this saturday?

Which club has had the LEAST amount of home stoppage time? Man Utd
Which club has scored teh MOST goals in injury time? Arsenal

Interesting...

i think the relevant stat is which team gets the most injury time at home when they are not winning.

OMG Really?! Ha well maybe thats because Man Utd are normally always winning their home games by the 90th minute!!

Had to laugh at Saturdays goals pull out in the Sun...

They were calling Sir Alex "The time lord" and the 4th official was asking "How many extra minutes would you like this Week Mr Furgurson?!"

The 11/2 available at halftime for Villa to beat Chelsea  was a early Christmas present from Corals!!...Unbelievable value!!

James Collins,a £5m signing from West Ham looks worth every penny.Quality player.

A good result for Villa Chris. I think Chelsea deserved a point but sloppy defending cost them dearly. Going forward they played some of the best stuff I have seen for ages, I just hope Joe Cole replaces Malouda soon.

Villa were excellent though and I take nothing away from them, well done.

Morning Alan

I think after that early mistake from Friedel Villa may of been there for the taking, but they showed great battling qualities..Credit to Friedal he went on to make three or four good saves.

Dunne and Collins look really solid in defence..Thier nothing too flash, just both strong and go about the job well.

Second half i thought Petrov and Sidwell were getting out run in centre midfeild (We miss Barry!),probably should of taken off Carew earlier replaced him with a midfielder and left Gabby to the run the line on his own.

Agree about sloppy Chelsea defending..How much more space could they of given Collins for the second goal?

I think it is safe to say now that the top 3 will be Man U, Arsenal & Chelsea. 4th spot definitely up for grabs though.

Arsenal are always capable of chucking a number of points away on a bad mini run. United and Chelsea are gimmes though.

Yeah, but who is capable of sustaining decent form to take advantage of a blip.

Well over the course of a full season id say nobody. But despite liverpools awfull start id expect them to finish strong as a Bentiz team always does (assuming he is in charge which id expect him to be). City and Villa may be fairly solid. Just depends how many Arsenal drop here and there. Ultimetly id agree and expect arsenal to finish top 4 as i would liverpool as well in all honesty.

But we may just see enough upsets this season at the top to see both of those cutting it close for a top 4 finish. Villa, City and Spurs fans should certinaly be optimistic this season as they are in for the best sniff of a top 4 finish for a while.

The top will definitely be Chelsea/Man U, after that I'm not so sure, can't see Villa making the top 4 though, sorry; it'll be between Arsenal/Man City/Spurs/Liverpool/Everton. Never enjoy watching any of Martin O'Neill's teams, they play awful football and it pains me to watch them.
