I agree that whichever of Roddick/Hewitt wins, he will have his work cut out in the next round. Both of those players are dogfighters

Huge respect for both Roddick and Hewitt but what a great chance Murray has now to make the final.

Deserved first set for Roddick

Murray very half hearted and tentative

Great start to the 2nd though - breaks Rod to love immediately

I can't lose fianancially now.
Got Roddick overall but backed Murray to win 3-1 & 3-2 to guarantee a profit. Only bad result was 3-0 Murray which was ridiculously overpriced at 13/8.
Honestly don't care who wins now - If Murray wins then brilliant, a brit in the final for the first time in god knows how long. If A-Rod wins then cash time!

Best player won

Murray was negative and tentaive all match in their baseline exchanges. Roddick was far more +ve and tried to win the match whereas Murray was just trying not to lose

The best players don't go into their shell like that on the big occasion

Tennis commentators are hopeless- they hardly ever call it right - kept saying how brave Murray was etc. with no mention of how negative his play was today and his sulky attitude throughout the match

If anything 3-1 flatters Murray
