Murray just not good enough today.

Should of won the third set tie break but didnt take his chance.

If Roddick can serve as well in the final he surely has a shout.

He left his first serve in the locker room!!

Reminded me so much of Henman today.

I agree that whichever of Roddick/Hewitt wins, he will have his work cut out in the next round. Both of those players are dogfighters

Both members of dads army though!

Don't be rude about the elderly....

Huge respect for both Roddick and Hewitt but what a great chance Murray has now to make the final.

Hi Jen

Just finished wiping the egg from my face!!

The dads army member played an amazing tournament!

Didn't he just! I was riveted to the final because I thought Federer was underperforming and the geriatric was performing like crazy!! How tennis turns on just one point/game......fascinating (and I did have a passing thought at how in-running betting might have gone....)

Surely the Olympics tennis should be moved to the albert hall on a nice hard court.

Gives Murray the best chance of winning it.

I'm not trying to down play his world no. 2 status because he looks like the best British tennis players we've had since, well I can remember, but isn't he only second in the world because Nadal has been out injured.

Hi Rochester,

Yes let's hope after a good rest he comes out fighting to win the US Open.

He's doing fantastically well so far this year
