TTT with you all the way about Hamoody, but please let the trainer get with the programme and drop him back to the sprint distances and let him kick on. He really is the most outstanding looking creature and definitely one to follow to the racetrack this season.
Hurray Peter Chapple-Hyam says in his stable tour today that Hamoody is going back to sprinting and is going to be allowed to jump and run - great! _________________ Greet people with four kisses - one for each cheek... Duke Ellington
Can I add AEGEAN DANCER who ran 3rd from a very poor draw at Beverley today over 5 furlongs. Previously won easily at Thirsk and clearly thriving at present. Brian Smart trains and he's sure to place this to win soon... I would look for a step up in grade on fast ground...but will see where he goes next _________________ RJI
i see nordwind was tipped by a few on the chester cup thread.on his epsom debut,he was described by a rp race reporter as the msot backward horse in the race, carrying condition and wolly in his coat still.he must of been that way last year as he ran in exactly the same handicap.he's obviously hard to get fit and as needed at least 2 runs,so now that they are out fo the way,we should expect a good run next time out.bar his 4yo career which something went wrong and he was only restircted to 4 outings and didnt run again after mid august,he as won in the other 2 seasons at 3rd attempt and should drop a couple of pounds now as he as ran of 87 in his last 2 runs.of 85 max,he could be a decent price next time out in a h'cap. _________________ stotsfold going to be special this flat season.
watch out old 'uns, the 3yos are coming to get you!!

I suggest you call up the lifetime form of this horse and read the quotes from Brian Smart... this is a horse going places (if he stays sound)... expecting it to go up in class soon _________________ RJI
This is likely to be a complete dud but the May foal Red Rock Canyon trained by A O'Brien and owned solely by M Tabor has last run in a G1 in France and earned an RPR and TS of 106 and OR of 104. Was scheduled to run in the Derinnstown on Sunday but has been switched to run in a maiden on the same card in which the next best is 93 and then 89 and lower. Is this a late talented developer that O'Brien just wants to get his head in front to improve confidence?
His pedigree has speed with the sire (8f) and stamina in abundance with the the dam and judging by his entries O'Brien must have at one point thought he was capable of a big win - Dante - English/Irish Derby's - Eclipse - Irish Champion
I've had £2 @ 700 and £3 @ 1000 for the Derby just in case.
If there's a plot involved I'd be more inclined to think it's at the 10f races nearer the end of the season.
Will be watching this horse.
Ramblings over.

Al Qasi - 4yo Colt - P W Chapple-Hyam. Very progressive sprinter winning 4 out of 6 last term. Handicaps out of the question now, but looks to have the ability to make the transition to pattern level. Group 1 performer in the making, IMO.
I notice said horse is entered up in the Duke of York at the Knavesmire (?)on wednesday.
DD - you having a punt?

Finished second to Teofilo on his debut at the Curragh and ran fifth to Passage Of Time in a Group 1 in France in November. He's a very nice colt and we feel that he's better than he has shown. _________________ Is ready to hibernate
