That was one of the very best performances I have ever seen - almost unbelievable!

I would probably go one step further and say it is the best performance I have ever seen in the few years I have been watching racing.  It set the pulse racing watching that

I particularly loved the way he jumped - smooth, fluent, economical, safe and quick. You can't ask much more from a staying chaser! It's the old thing - time in the air is time wasted, take off right, get to the other side as quickly and as economically as possible, and land running. He did all those in exemplary fashion.

I don't know but they are different in terms of getting the distance.

Wayward was unbeatable at 2.5 miles and just about stretched to 3m at flat Kempton but never got 3m2f round Cheltenham for the GC despite really gutsy effort when ridden by Jonjo in the Dickinson 5.

Both are superb jumpers but Denman is a stayer and IMHO now if he stays fit COULD win the next 5 Gold Cups!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ridiculous thought ,I know, because he's yet to win one but Kauto S is his only rival and I think he has to greatly improve his jumping to live with Denman in the GC.Exotic Dancer is not the same class so the GC is now a match!?!

Exotic Dancer is no match? I think that is awfully harsh on Exotic Dancer who was arguably unlucky in the gold cup this year as I think if they had went a quicker pace which someone like Denman may set then there's every chance that Exotic Dancer will beat them both. Im not saying he definitely will but there's every chance he will. Especially if they go a good gallop.

Agree 110% Sham..

Exotic Dancer has a massive chance in the Gold Cup...Just a bit more luck in running needed this time...
