Robbie Keane

I can see Spurs improvng their consistency in the new year, especially with any new signings they make in Jan.  So perhaps this lad might enjoy himslef even more in the new year.

Not sure of his odds though?

be well worth checking out Roque Sants Cruz price the guy is on fire ,defenders of the opposition will needs a fire extinguisher to put the flames out soon.
What must be remembered is he is not a big name with a big club so there will be plenty of value for value seeker, get on santa this xmas for top goalscorer ,you know it makes sense  :xmlol:

4 in 14 games and then 7 in 4 games.  It'll soon dry up.  I should know - I had him in my fantasy team until 4 games ago!!!!

I thought it might be helpful to put up what the current standings are...

Ronaldo Man Utd 12
Adebayor Arsenal 10
Anelka Bolton 10
Keane Tottenham 10
Benjani Portsmouth 9
Santa Cruz Blackburn 9
Torres Liverpool 9
Yakubu Everton 9
Bent Wigan 7
Gerrard Liverpool 7
Tevez Man Utd 7
Agbonlahor Aston Villa 6
Dempsey Fulham 6
Fabregas Arsenal 6
Kitson Reading 6

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/f.../eng_prem/top_scorers/default.stm

I backed Ronaldo before the season started as I thought the 16/1 on offer was way too big, but I cannot believe how many players are queued up behind. The danger is Torres for me...

I cant beleive what i am seeing in Torres ,remember even Drogba took a season to get started ,fernando has hit the traps running ,havent been so excited of a player at Anfield for years this guy is scoring goals out of nothing ,imagine if Raffa our gaffa bought someone who could play along side of him  in the Jan shopwindow and take some of the pressure off him ,the guy would run riot ,todays price would be VALUE  with a capital V,
also you have to take into account our next two matches both i feel very winnable Man City away and Wigan, home  on 2 Jan .a bet on a Torres hat trick that day would not be the worlds worst be,get on Torres today each way a bet to nothing YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE
PS Whats best price SM  ,i feel a phone call coming on

5/1 with Stan James (1/4 the odds 1,2,3,4)

Agreed that this is an eachway bet to nothing if you are into that sort of thing.

another interesting one for me which you will get a fair price is Yakubu .wasnt at all impressive when he first arrived the term what awaste of money as well as worse ones like fat and lazy and unprintable ones but he has come good so much so that AJ has been confined to the bench a lot ,he is big strong and most importantly will play if every match as long as he stays fit, even if not considering him for the golden boot he is a great fg,last scorer, anytime or each way option in matches.

you'll always get a good run for your money from Yakubu at a decent price - he's a goal machine

Agreed on that. As long as Torres is getting the games under his belt in the league and stays away from injuries and suspensions which looks highly likely given his temperment, age and physique... He should make top 4 in the goalscores! 5-1 seems a very good price!

It is amazing that Ronaldo scores so many goals from midfield ! He is easily Utds most important player considering this contribution which you wouldnt expect from a player on this part of the pitch!

On another note:

I see David Villa is unhappy at Valencia !

He is class and id like to know the odds of him becoming a Liverpool player before next summer ?

I can see him moving on and to one of the big clubs in European football...

There will be many suiters !

Dont think Barca would go for him due to price tag and requirements !

Real may be interested as may the Milans !

If he came to England i would impagine him to end up at Liverpool or Chelsea !

Given Benitez and the spanish contingent at Anfield i could easily see that as his next likely destination !

He is very good friends with Torres and they play very well together for the spanish national side ! He gets on very well with Benetiz and enjoyed success under him at Valencia

a lot of blues in our city really fancy the blues against the gunners and they well could be a value bet ,the gunners rocked me to sleep the other night and only came good the last five you could have put the first 85 mins of the Portsmouth v Arsenal match on a DVD  and sold it worldwide as a cure for insomnia .no sleepless nights ever again for the whole world
