Derby day already, It is a week early for you horse racing heathens, but for many this is the big day in the year. I have already got a bet runing on fear Zafonic in the final, so I wont do another. The race itself is fascinating. Finally fear zafonic has his favoured one box, I know T/1 is jinxed for the final, theories abound as to why, but it could be due to the "Derby roar" One will be last to see the bunny. If Zafonic gets away well, I really think its done and dusted. That said Ballymac Ruso has been pinging the lids, and a smart break will make him hard to beat. Farloe Reason, a puppy derby winner here, is also in good form and could suprise a few today. Wise Thought is the only outside runner, is in great shape, and could well get a clear run. All in all I wont be suprised if any of those four dogs win it.
Elsewhere on the card we have two cracking bets at around evens. Firstly in the 7.45 this years Puppy Derby winner goes from T/2 Bandicoot Topiki is evens with Boylesports and Stan James but iI am sure he will start at odds on. Ninja Jamie also goes at 8.45 and is 4/5 with several firms.

Update on yesterdays bet. Bandicoot Topiki won his race but Ninja Jamie was beaten into second spot.
Greyhound Derby Final.
Fear Zafonic was away and gone, and approaching the last bend he hit 1/100 in running. Amazingly the rank outsider, Kinda Ready, flew home to just nick it on the line. To make matters worse, I checked my earlier articles, and had tipped Fear Zafonic for a 7 point bet. All in all close but no cigars.
Yesterdays double 4 Points loss
Derby Outright 7 points loss
Running total was -15.91
New running total is -26.91
