Le Tour is the greatest spectacle in all of the sporting world in my opinion. I'm not normally one to bet big on cycling and will not be making an exception here but Cadel Evans at 11/1 is surely a great Each Way bet. I'll have a bit on that for sure!!

| Cadels bound to be up there but his team are relatively weak and will they carry him through the mountain stages? Contador again looks a certainty, the Astana team is beastly this year. I wouldnt be backing Armstrong, hes got to work for Contador and waste his energy on helping him through the mountains. Menchov won the Giro but he always underperforms in the tour. For me, Andy Schleck should end up on the podium and a couple of e/w outsiders would be Sastre again and Vandevelde at a much bigger price. |

Stage 2
Backing manxman Mark Cavendish expect the sprint king to win today ,if he does it will be the last time you will get odds against him in the sprints ,so strike while the irons hot.
Recommended bet
3.75 points Cavendish 11/8 pp _________________ I AM HAPPY TO JOIN WITH YOU TODAY IN WHAT WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE GREATEST DEMONSTRATION FOR FREEDOM IN THE HISTORY OF OUR NATION(THE I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH,1963, MARTIN LUTHER KING) |

As stated above if the manxman won yesterday the value would go ,which it has best now is ladcrookes 4/5 ,8/13 im most place .so will look for an each way altenative fot todays stage 3 ,Tyler Farrar was second yesterday ,could say couldnt get near the manxmans tail but manx cats have no tail ,the young yank is just 8s with ladcrookes but stan james go 14s which is a real value price ,feel lads are more close to the mark.
Suggested bet
1PT EW TYLER FARRAR 14S STAN JAMES _________________ I AM HAPPY TO JOIN WITH YOU TODAY IN WHAT WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE GREATEST DEMONSTRATION FOR FREEDOM IN THE HISTORY OF OUR NATION(THE I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH,1963, MARTIN LUTHER KING) |

Todays stage 6. Currently 15km left. David Millar in the lead by just over a minute to the peloton. A few riders strung between him and the peloton. Surely he gets caught from here ?
1.7 currently on him looks like a big lay to me and with Mark Cavendish in the pack he looks huge at 20/1 at this moment to win given youd expect him to win the sprint again....
laying both millar at 1.7 and backing Cav myself at 20/1...
lets see... |
