I got the full subscription, whole sha-bang with Virgin and I was under the impression RUK was going to be free with it, but it's not there, is this just the way it is, have to fork out the £20 regardless?
RUK was on the Virgin XL TV package but it seems it's not anymore. Must have been withdrawn the other day when they started charging again
Anyone been having any problems with this lately? Imparticualar freezing issues and at just gone midnight every night the hole thing goes down for half hour or so. Was just right at the end of a wicked film and the thing packed in, will be demanding a full refund on my bill for this month and if they wont do that and then sort the problem out I'll be straight back off to Sky. _________________ 2009 BCT Winner - Conduit

My wife had the same sort of problem on her multi room box with channels 701, 702, 130, they are CBBC's for the grandkids, except for Alibi ch 130. Rang Virgin they sent some messages down, didn't cure it, rang again and arranged an engineer, last night it was cured, cancelled the engineer, sods law it will go again. _________________ WE ARE NOT STRANGERS, JUST FRIENDS WHO HAVE NEVER MET.
Other than a few trysts with Sky tv for a better deal, I have been with Virginmedia/ntl/nynex as far back as i can remember. Last friday we had the new installation phone, tv, broadband ect. The cables were installed for the phone but no connection available at the exchange. We were told it would be done in four days, its now been six. I rang the helpline and was told a tecnician would be available to visit on DECEMBER THE FIFTH
My mother is disabled so i complaind vie email and got the following reply.

case and a member of our team will get back to you as quickly as
possible, usually within 5 days.

, is going on here, a five day wait to complain about a slow service. You really couldnt make it up. Add to that my ntl email no longer works, outlook doesnt recognise my new email address, so i cant access emails sent during the six days I was offline. _________________ If at first you dont succeed..then skydiving isnt for you

I find that Yahoo gets all my emails from NTL and other emails that I have set up, and allows you to send the email from the indicated source i.e. a drop down window that asks where do you want to go to answer this email and then gives you the choice of using the redirected emails. I have an NTL address but can't get a Virgin one, strange. _________________ WE ARE NOT STRANGERS, JUST FRIENDS WHO HAVE NEVER MET.
So today a guy arrives to connect the phone, only to explain we have the same problem the previous engineer mentioned. The call centre in India is no help at all, and i still await a reply to my previous complaint.
Monday I will call BT to get a phone intstalled. The downside is i will either lose cable tv or have to pay more for it than i do now.
