I bet Betfred wish they were Stan James when it comes to me
Glennie It always seems strange to me how this can happen because you would think that over a period of time if you had accounts with different bookmakers your positive or negative balance would be somewhere similar.
Now i have had most of my accounts for years and where as Totesport probably think i am the worst gambler in the world I can hardly get a bean on nowadays with Stan James, skybet or Betfred needless to say i try to use Totesport as little as possible because it Just digs at you when you are placing the bet.

Yesterday Betfred Radio had ( I think ) Fred Done saying they had paid someone £220,000 for a £50 trixie the other day. This was at early prices and the SP return was a measely £48,000. Yet try getting a £5 lucky 15 on at big odds and see what happens. _________________ If at first you dont succeed..then skydiving isnt for you |

Alan it depends what you mean when you say bigger odds as on a Lucky 15 there would be no point in putting on more than £2 E/W if you are talking about around the 20/1 mark _________________ Forest are Treemendous |

I cannot see how bookmakers can justify such restrictions in the case of punters like Glennie, whose winnings since March have been substantial in my eyes but surely a teeny weeny drop in the overall bucket to Betfred.
If they are restricting people who win less than £1,000 over a period of 7 months, they must surely be having a giraffe (by the way, I think this comes to about £4.70 a day if you take £1,000 as the base.....).
Or is it not the amounts, but the consistency of the wins that they attack (eg if I managed to put £1 e/w on horses at reasonable odds and got a strike rate of 50% would I be restricted too?) |

As some of you may have read on the A/P portfolios I did a Lucky 15 for Cheltenham, yesterday I tried to place another with corals(worked out best payout) online It kept coming back saying the bet could not be placed because it was Incompatable.
After discussion with there customer services who talked to there trading room they came back and said the bet could not be placed because one of my picks was in the Champion Chase & the other was in the Champion Hurdle and because the name of the races clashed the system would not take it
Talk about Idiots
The only thing now is I will have to go and find a corals shop and place the bet in case they all win _________________ Forest are Treemendous |

That's shocking, especially when you know how much people who develop these web sites get paid. _________________ Tricky Trickster - Grand National Winner 2010 |

That has to be the silliest reason for rejecting a bet that I have ever heard of - perhaps we should have a competition to decide the daftest excuse for not accepting a bet.
Maybe someone should try a L15 on the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Ascot Gold Cup, Ayr Gold Cup and Paddy Power Gold Cup (not necessarily in that order!). That would confuse them.....And you could add the Whitbread and probably several others I haven't thought of! _________________ UNEXPECTED WINNER 2009 FLAT 10 TO FOLLOW COMPETITION! |

Yes Its obviously a software problem so I even suggested what to me seem'd the most logical way round it in that as they obviously Insert the names of each race why not change the title of the Champion Chase to the Queen Mother Chase taking away any common word(chase apart).
It is still the same tonight so that advise went unheard.
