Anyone taken much interest in the long term ante-posts yet? I have taken some 4/1 on Big Buck's but nothing else yet...

25/1 Just A Par in the RSA
I shall be having a few quid on.

25/1 Boston Bob for the Gold Cup.
Again for a few quid.

Had my first few bets last week, which were:

Big Bucks @ 4/1

The New One @ 8/1

African Gold for the RSA @ 20/1

Bobs Worth @ 3/1 - I know this is taking a short price a long way from the event but I think he should be 7/4 or 6/4 as I don't see anything from last year reversing the form and the novice chasers were an ordinary bunch, IMHO

Champagne Fever for the Arkle @ 7/1

I have a few more in mind but want to see some of them run this season first

Does anyone know the plans for At Fishers Cross, is it staying over hurdles or going novice chasing?

Curtis confirmed before the end of last season that At Fishers Cross would be staying over hurdles and aimed at the world hurdle so hence the accurate world hurdle price.

Ive been on an At Fishers Cross-Bobs Worth 22/1 Double over the summer Plus a 200/1 treble with The New One in the champion. Ill look to build in cover doubles & trebles across these 3 championship races as the season progresses. The New One and At Fishers Cross made a huge impression on me at trials day last january i had my biggest festival win ever with a double on the pair in there respective races at 30/1. I think they are both top notch and will be hard to beat again next march assuming they turn up well and properly prepped without any problems.

I think you have some nice bets there I am a huge fan of all 3 horses. At Fishers cross form is rock solid as a novice and Big Buck's must be vulnerable after a season off and not getting any younger. Although few horses defend a Gold Cup Bobs worth's light campaign and his love of Cheltenham give him a good chance of retaining his crown in March and the New one is an exciting prospect that has already shown his well being this season.
