Riise ,i still cant understand ,why he done it,watched replay, after replay and cant get me head around it(sorry for the pun)
Never in all my years of watching football have i seen people (liverpool fans) come out of anfield so stunned ,not a word was hardly uttered.
It was always going to come back on us and must be the most costly in financial terms own goal ever scored

There was one weekend of betting where I lost about 5 bets on the trot on the football, that was unhappy.

Nicky Maynard breaking his leg day 1 of the season - despite bringing in over £3 million in transfer fees over the summer, we never spent a penny to replace anybody we sold, and when Nicky broke his leg, we lost the only semi-decent player we had.

We'll be the richest side in non-league football in 2 years time, especially after we sell him this summer for £2million.

Cheers

The repeated sub-standard performances by overpaid prima donna's wearing an England shirt - specifically, although not restricted to Gerrard & Lampard.

The continuing farce of important decisions being made incorrectly.  Fulham theoretically would have been safe far earlier than they were but for some unexplainably bad decisions against them.  These mistakes are costing managers jobs.

The FA - bunch of incompetent idiots, who are not even consistent with their decisions.  Get someone in to make some proper (read tough / hardline) decisions that will improve the game.  (Worthwhile bans for poor behaviour, cheating, dangerous tackles).  Analyse each game independently and retroactively punish offenders.  Clubs should contribute a % of their gate money to make it fair in order to fund this.

The "spiralling out of control" (admittedly not just this season) of transfer fees for mediocre players.  5m barely gets you an average player these days.

The pathetic treatment of decent people (managers) - who get apportioned most of the blame when their players don't perform - due to over-expectation from people who know less than nothing about football (ie chairman / owners).

Guess I'll stop there.

Worse moment for me was Wembley final against Spurs. No love lost between the fans, and most Chelsea fans ask if Spurs lost prior to asking about the other top clubs.

Bugbear was the second yellow card not being given way too often. This rule needs sorting or scraping.

Scrub the above, the news about Gazza is worse than winning or losing any trophy. Some of it may be self inflicted but even so i hope he gets well soon.

don't need to add anything else, do i? Matt Oakley maybe, possibly each and every one of his wayward passes was individually more painful to watch than the overall decline and ablitiration of our club this year.
